Symbol of political power in the Middle Ages, now hosting temporary exhibitions.
In the heart of the city, the palace was built in 1206 in the typical form of Lombard communal buildings and was enlarged in 1245. It was modified again in 1496, and the large interior hall, which was used by the town council to meet, was divided into several areas including a chapel. A symbol of political power in the Middle Ages, its façade is the result of modifications made in the 19th century. Note the beautiful 16th-century carved wooden portal in the Sala dello Scalone. Today it hosts temporary exhibitions.

Beau palace dans la piazza del comune, l'un des plus beaux exemples de palais renaissance de la ville. Nous n'avons pas réussi à visiter son intérieur, il n'y avait pas d'informations à ce propos.
