With copper pans on the walls, doily lamps and the bells of Pavia's Duomo echoing nearby, the atmosphere here is deliciously timeless. At Peo (another name for the osteria, named after founder Pompeo), the menu evolves with the seasons. You'll find dishes typical of Lombardy: antipasti to share, featuring charcuterie, risotti to die for and expertly cooked meats.
