Valtice

Go down to the basement of the castle, past an exhibition on Moravian wines (everything is in Czech) and venture behind the doors. Here you are in the castle's famous cellar. It contains the 100 best Czech wines, selected annually by the National Wine Association. Tastings are organized regularly, and the best part is that you can participate in them with an oenologist interpreter who can show you all their nuances.

If it is a cellar in Valtice where you have to go to taste wine, it's this one! Great, dark, deep, she has all the qualities to have a good drink. It is a labyrinth: 9 cellars align with each other, over 700 meters long. The staff will be happy to visit the site, driving you in narrow tunnels or at the low ceilings.
