MUSEUM PRÁCHEŇ (PRÁCHEŇ MUZEUM)

This historical museum offers a beautiful display of local history. The sections concerning the recent periods (Nazi occupation, communist era) are particularly interesting. The museum is housed in the former right wing of the late Písek Castle. In addition to the permanent exhibition, the museum also organizes several temporary exhibitions each year, highlighting local artists or dealing with current issues through art and photography.
