At the beginning of the summer, Kutná Hora holds large medieval festivals. The town's setting is particularly suitable for the exercise, with battle re-enactments, parades, knightly tournaments, etc. The craftsmen's workshops are particularly interesting. In the evening, the agapes are going well: one eats as in the past (it is hardly more caloric than the current Czech kitchen...) with the sound of minstrels, storytellers and troubadours.
