The Central Museum of Ancient Russian Culture and Painting Andrei Rublev, located in Moscow's Andronikov Monastery, is a must-see for lovers of Russian art and culture. Founded in 1947, the museum houses an impressive collection of works of art, including ancient frescoes, icon paintings, religious art and manuscripts. Entrance fees are 400 RUB for the main exhibition, 3500 RUB for a guided tour, 150 RUB for permission to photograph and 500 RUB for permission to film. An audio-guide in English is also available at 300 RUB for 4 hours.
