This museum (ГОСУДАРСТВЕННЫЙ ИСТОРИЧЕСКИЙ МУЗЕЙ) houses a rich collection of objects and documents from the history of the peoples of Russia from prehistoric times to the 20th century: there are coins, medals, jewellery, pagan idols and Christian crosses, manuscripts, works of art. Among the most interesting objects are the clothes of Ivan the Terrible, a coach of Peter the Great, a portrait of Emelian Pugachev, the leader of the peasant war of the 18th century, a sword and Napoleon's rolling kitchen.

Open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday from 10am to 6pm. Friday and Saturday from 10am to 9pm. Closed on Tuesdays. Input: 400 RUB.

Le musée historique d'état possède un vestiaire gratuit au s/sol (pratique en hiver). Je vous conseille de prendre un audio guide à la caisse afin de faire une visite en français. A la fin de votre visite, prendre les escalier pour faire la salle 36 , ainsi vous pourrez avoir un beau panorama sur la place rouge et st basile.

Importantes collections,mais malheureusement l' explication uniquement en russe.Il y a beaucoup de chose à voir, j'ai apprécié les objets d'époque préhistorique.

Located on the red square, you will notice it quite easily it is the huge red building that faces the Saint Basile cathedral happy.
The collection is huge, bring good shoes one starts on the first floor by a collection of works by the first civilisations to have lived along the Volga to finish with a magnificent collection of jewellery from the imperial order. Along this course you will discover the history of Russia, objects collections sublime magnificent cards, costumes and I go from a comprehensive museum to see!
