SAKHLI

Georgian restaurant €€

There are many Georgian restaurants in Moscow, but it is rare to find the exact same flavours that you can enjoy in Tbilisi. Settled for many years in a discreet street, this house welcomes you in its 3 rooms and on its charming terrace. If you were to test only a Georgian restaurant or wanted to taste something else from this cuisine than the triptych khachapuri (bread dough stuffed with cheese) or khinkali (large meat ravioli), despite the fact that it is perfectly executed, this is the place to come!

GENATSVALE

Georgian restaurant €€

A proud representative of the new breed of Georgian restaurants with stereotypical decor, Genatsvale threatens to take over the entire street as the management expands its operations. In two rooms with wooden furniture, you will be offered good food, such as Satsivi (chicken breast with nut sauce) or khatchapouri. During the day the atmosphere is very family oriented. In the evening you will see an orchestra and folk dances that flirt with caricature. This is the only flaw of this address!

ELARJI

Georgian restaurant €€

This restaurant has a large, airy room, and in the summer a terrace with wicker chairs in the patio of the restaurant. Before dinner you can play backgammon, chess, badminton or table tennis while the children have access to the slide, swing and even a hammock. Its chef, Iso Dzadaeva, says he only cooks according to his Georgian grandmother's recipes. As is often the case in the restaurants of the Ginza gastronomic group, the quality of the products is top-notch. In short, we live and eat well in Elardzhi!

VAI ME !

Takeaway food

Vai Me is part of another Georgian fast food chain, which, as you can see, is quite popular in the capital. The strength of this chain, which makes it one of the best in the capital, is a very good quality/price ratio: its cuisine, khachapuri, khinkali in mind, its staff helping out with tourists, its maps translated into English (with even gluten-free choices!) and a friendly setting. In short, it's a smart choice between two museum visits! We like the cheese khachapuri with an egg.
