The metro is the king of transportation in the capital. Stations are identified by red "M" signs on the street. Tourists can easily get lost in the network: directions are indicated at each platform in English and Cyrillic, line changes are indicated by signs showing a blue man descending the steps. The metro fare is reasonable (think of the Troika card) and the metro is free for children under 7 years old. Moreover, since the Olympic Games, most of the signs are in English.

Unlike the French transport network that goes by many lines or letters, these is the colours that you must follow, remember these advice.
Otherwise you need to be a sacred hiker, rises and the automatic stairs are breathtaking, one descends to almost 500 metres below floor.
Venture only to be accompanied by a guide or Russian who knows here!
To tell you on my arrival I stayed blocked two hours to understand how the network with fatigue I function do not tell you but after a not.
Unlike what can be written in some guide, do not hesitate to speak to a policeman, there is throughout the stations, policy in the police has to change and you will not be requested financial replicas or bribes.
