If you are lost in the vastness of the park and its hotel offer, look no further, come to Borrowdale. The greenery is guaranteed with this little pearl from the YHA, one of their best hostels in the whole country. Whether you are alone or with your family, you will have a choice of rooms, dormitories or even small cottages, close to the Scafell Pike and Great Gable trails. Make sure you are motorized and remember to do your shopping in advance: you are cut off from everything and a quarter of an hour's drive from Keswick. But it is also what makes the magic of the place and gives it its intimate side. In the evening, everyone meets in the lounge bar to tell each other about their day with a draught beer in a very friendly atmosphere. There is of course a shared kitchen for your meals but you can also order a dish from the very friendly team that runs the establishment.
