The University of Manchester Museum houses interesting collections on archaeology, anthropology and natural history in a superb neo-Gothic building. With no less than 4.5 million objects from all over the world, it is the largest university museum in the country. A large part is made in ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome, but there are also aquariums, vivariums, taxidermy and dinosaur skeletons.
