ROYAL EXCHANGE THEATRE

This highly symbolic place of the city where half of Britain's cotton was sold was converted into a theatre after the IRA attack in 1996. Today it is articulated around a central stage where the performances are performed in an ultra-modern dome, in the middle of the main hall with its pink marble columns and golden acanthus leaves.
