This small museum is housed in a former merchant's house built in 1640, then partially destroyed during the Second World War. It mainly houses objects relating to the maritime and naval history of the town and its port, as well as model ships, photographs, paintings... It's not an essential visit, but if you have time or need to fill a rainy day, this museum can help you learn more about the history of Dartmouth and the region, which is always interesting.
