On these Devon cliffs, over 60 meters high, stand the remains of a Napoleonic-era fort, built to defend against French troops. This nature reserve is also renowned for being home to several colonies of birds of 200 different species, including guillemots, which are protected here, and the views over the cliffs and bay are superb. Many walks are possible in the surrounding area. Don't forget binoculars to observe the local wildlife! There's also a lighthouse that's emblematic of the region.
