The Shirley is a 4-star hotel set in a Victorian villa in Torquay. It's just a 6-minute walk from the harbor, stores, restaurants and bars. Rooms are bright and simple, with en suite bathrooms, free Wi-Fi, TVs with DVD players, goodies and tea and coffee making facilities. Parking is free, and a full English breakfast is included in the room rate. The hotel also features a heated outdoor swimming pool with sun terrace, and a communal lounge offering alcoholic beverages at an additional cost. Guests particularly appreciated the breakfast and the friendly service provided by the staff.
