POOLE MUSEUM

The Poole Museum is undergoing renovation until the end of 2024. The building itself is worth a visit to admire the mix of white brick, wooden beams and glass galleries, which enhance the exhibits. Inside, you'll discover the history of the town from Roman occupation to recent times, including smuggling, the Middle Ages and the naval and industrial past. All this is illustrated by pottery, paintings and other exhibits. It's a museum designed with families in mind, and we've worked hard to make it as entertaining as possible.
