Pleasantly located on the banks of the Madina River, Bargeman's Rest is a large, popular pub where locals flock for the wide choice of real ales and, above all, the huge, reasonably priced menu. The dark, wood-panelled interiors are classic for this type of establishment, with a maritime decor reminiscent of the island's heritage. The food is simple but served in good quantity; baked potato, burger, catch of the day, steak... If you're really hungry, this is the place to go.
