The New Steine Hotel is located in Central Brighton, minutes' walk from the sea and all the attraction, famous lanes, Brighton Pier and night life
Following the completion of our refurbishment in January 2020, we are now offering a fresh and modern look, keeping the Georgian Style of the 1770 building.
We have incorporated USB plugs in all the rooms as well as large flat screen TV and all the essentials you would expect in a 4 Star Hotel.
We are passionate about Art with various original paintings dotted around the hotel as well as food and use mainly local produce in both our French Bistro as well as our breakfast.
We offer a unique Franco Anglo experience which I encourage you to come and try it as you won't regret it.

joli petit hôtel charmant rénové avec goût. Situé dans une rue charmante so British. Central à quelques minutes à pied de la pier. Chambre calme cosy confortable avec une jolie vue sur les jolies façades des immeubles d'en face et petite vue mer sur le côté. Belle décoration de la salle du petit-déjeuner. Gérante française sympathique.
Points négatifs :
le parking à Brighton est compliqué. Comptez 2/3£ de l'heure selon les rues. Selon votre heure d'arrivée et de départ, il peut être utile d'acheter un bon 8£ à l'hôtel la journée. Petit-déjeuner bon servi à table, pas de buffet, bémol : chocolat chaud et oeufs brouillés pas bons (= couleur orange (poudre ?), pas acceptable pour un 4 étoiles). Personnel gentil mais présentation à revoir (mal rasé et en t-shirt la veille, moyen pour un 4 étoiles...) Nous étions intéressés pour manger le soir mais ce monsieur n'était pas très motivé pour faire réchauffer (...), pas très professionnel, donc nous avons mangé ailleurs. Enfin, un peu cher 240£ pour 3 fin août.
