Vintage and very welcoming, this little café is ideal for a lunch break or a good snack. At the counter, chocolate cake, croissants, puddings, cookies, muffins and other pastries are tempting. If you're in the mood for something savory, the café offers sandwiches, salads and soups, all at very reasonable prices. We love the wide selection of teas, barista coffees, homemade smoothies andice teas. In cooler weather, we recommend the delicious and ultra-comforting kale/cauliflower soup!

This iconic and authentic British restaurant, created by Margaret Banfield, is set amidst the "Net Shops" of old Hastings, the large black wooden huts unique to Hastings, where fishermen stored their fishing tackle. The view over the harbour is superb. Maggie's has been serving traditional fish and chips for over 30 years, using fresh fish caught less than 30 kilometers away. A must-visit address if you haven't yet tasted this genuine British specialty!
