Capital of the province of East Anglia, Norwich has many assets: a medieval architecture, a cultural activity rich in festivals, theatres and concert halls, a student atmosphere conducive to celebration and the proximity of the Broads National Park. Dutch immigrants were numerous here and the local economy developed in the spinning of wool and its trade. In the 19th century, it expanded further by entering the insurance, mustard trade and beer industry. Norwich was once described with the phrase: "A pub for every day of the year, and a church for every Sunday". It is now classified as a City of Literature by UNESCO.
