The hospital receives an average of 130 patients per day for emergencies and paediatrics and one hundred to obstetrician service. The institution has two paediatricians and two surgeons. The emergency service has been improving for some years, despite the increase in patients who also come from the states of Barinas, Trujillo and Tachira, among others. Recently the institution incorporated ENT, nephrology and neurology specialities.
