This garden features some 100 plants used in traditional Dai and Chinese medicine. The Latin name of certain essences appears on a plaque with an explanation of their use in medicine. At the far end of the park are a few houses of a traditional village on stilts bordering a pond. The area lends itself well to a one-hour visit. You can hire a local guide at the entrance for a more in-depth explanation, especially useful if you don't read Chinese.
