NATIONAL MINORITY PARK
A sort of open-air museum where the houses of the region's main national minorities are on display
Further south, there's a sort of open-air museum where the houses of the region's main national minorities are on display. It's a real treat if you happen to be passing through. There are reconstructions of traditional Dai, Akha, Bulang and Hani houses, with explanatory panels and everyday objects. Folk shows are sometimes organized, especially in high season. The place is calm and shady, but the whole remains modest and a little staid.
