The Golden Duck Temple, also known as the Golden Duck Pagoda, is a religious building located in the village of Nong'an, near Ruili. This Buddhist temple is distinguished by its traditional architecture. According to local legend, the area was once marshy and prone to flooding. Two golden ducks appeared and guided the villagers to drain the waters, making the land habitable and fertile. In gratitude, the villagers erected this pagoda in their honor.
