LAIFENG TEMPLE
A delightful pagoda with a lovely view, not difficult to climb
Laifeng Temple, nestled in the forest park of the same name, is one of the region's most revered Buddhist shrines. Founded in Ming times, it has been rebuilt several times, but retains an ancient, solemn atmosphere. Surrounded by centuries-old pine trees and often shrouded in mist, the temple is distinguished by its curved roofs, wooden carvings and large Buddha Hall. To reach this enchanting pagoda and enjoy a lovely view, you'll have to walk a little. But don't worry, it's not difficult!
