Travel Guide Qingkou 箐口

Located just under 10 kilometers away, Qingkou village is an example of a hani village in the Yuanyang area. Although the place is fast crowded with tourists, there is a nice visit. You can find typical houses made of stone, brick or bamboo. The habitat of the Hani consists of two or even three floors, the roof of the houses is often covered with grass. One of the houses houses a small museum that will make you discover the customs of this minority. A small path behind the village takes you to the rice fields. You will see women wandering in traditional costumes. With the arrival of autumn, all the villagers of Qingkou are in the rice fields to harvest rice.
