This 45-metre-high clock tower is the last vestige of the former colonial Kowloon-Canton railway station
Tsim Sha Tsui's iconic Clock Tower is a historical relic that contrasts with the modern promenade and ultra-contemporary cultural buildings around it. Built in 1915, this 44-metre-high tower was originally the bell tower of the former Kowloon-Canton railway station, which was moved to Hung Hum in 1975. Unique vestige de la gare de train reliant HK à Canton dont la ligne a été ouverte en 1910, et la tour complétée et fonctionnelle en 1921. La gare a été détruite en 1970 suite au déplacement du terminus à Hung Hom.
C'est une tour sympa à inclure dans vos clichés, mais malheureusement on ne peut plus la visiter. Si vous êtes dans le coin (par exemple en allant prendre le Star Ferry) arrêtez-vous y. Sinon ne faites pas le déplacement pour ça.
