Located in the Palace of Altamira, it presents the artistic heritage of Elche via a course divided into two sections. The archaeological section crosses history from the origins of the city and ends with the arrival of the Arabs. The second section runs up to today. Very didactic, this museum offers nature models and reproductions as well as daily scenes and various audiovisual audiovisuels. It also hosts temporary exhibitions, workshops and many cultural activities.
