The walls of Peñiscola offers three main entrances to the city: Fosc Portal (literally "gateway obscure"), in a Renaissance style, whose construction dates back to xvie century; Portal de San Pere, also known as "Portal de Papa Luna", that pope Benedict III had in 1414; and Portal de Socorro, linking the old port to the castle.
