BALL PARLAT - SPECTACLE DE DANSE MÉDIÉVALE

For two weeks in mid-May, Ball Parlat became the only concern in Salomó, a small village in the inland area of Tarragona (about minutes by car). It is a very ancient type of dance that has its roots in the Middle Ages, and which integrates the word, Ball Parlat meaning "spoken dance." Since 1999, this cultural practice has been recognized by the Government of Catalonia as part of the National Heritage.
