FIRAGOST – FESTA MAJOR DEL CAMP CATALÀ

It is usually on the first Tuesday and Wednesday of August that the Firagost is held, a large agricultural and popular fair bringing together the inhabitants of Vals, as well as many Catalan towns and villages. Tasting of local products and workshops for small and large are the programme, all in a festive atmosphere. To close the festivities, the two castelleres colles of the city (castellers team) give a representation of their impressive balance skills by forming these famous human towers, emblematic of Vals and also of Catalonia.
