Gigantic cultural, artistic and technological center that organizes Catalan cultural events

This large textile factory founded by Josep Umbert i Ventura in 1876, converted into a gigantic cultural, artistic and technological centre, was in its time one of the most dynamic factories in Granollers. It closed its doors in 1991 before being bought by the city a few years later. Today it houses a university centre, an art centre, a library, around fifty cultural and audiovisual companies and a pleasant café. Cultural events are regularly organised there, most of them in Catalan (see the agenda on the website).
