Where do minerals come from? What are they used for? The Manresa Geology Museum highlights the link between geology and industry, exposing the usefulness of minerals in our daily lives, but also the limitations and problems associated with the mining industry. It presents a beautiful collection of minerals extracted from the Catalan soil and elsewhere, as well as fossils and rocks used for construction (limestone, granite, basalt...). The last room allows to observe the phosphorescence phenomenon of minerals exposed to UV rays. Also noteworthy is the presence of a large fossilized mammoth horn found in Manresa.
