PALS - Arròs Molí de Pals is a rice producer located in the town of Pals, Catalonia. Founded in 1984 by the Parals family, a long-standing farming family, the company purchased a rice mill dating back to 1452. Since then, they have been marketing their own rice as well as that of other farmers in the region, with an emphasis on a modern, environmentally-friendly approach. The Arròs Molí de Pals team works diligently to make the most of the unique qualities of the Empordà terroir and climate. They supervise plant growth and development on a daily basis to ensure maximum quality and optimum yield. Their rice production is respectful of the environment, limiting the use of fertilizers and phytosanitary products. Arròs Molí de Pals also offers tours of their rice mill, giving visitors the opportunity to discover the region's rice production process. Their rice is guaranteed natural, with no preservatives, and meets strict agricultural production standards compatible with environmental protection and conservation of the countryside.
