Since February 2020, choco addicts have had a new landmark address in Girona: the Casa Cacao chocolate factory. At the head of this adventure is pastry chef Jordi Roca, the youngest of the three Roca brothers, who buys cocoa beans directly from small communities in Peru, Venezuela, Colombia and Ecuador, paying a fair price for them. You'll also be able to try xuixo, Girona's emblematic sweet, made according to a centuries-old recipe and filled with chocolate cream.
