Former parish church of the village of Chelsea, before the latter is integrated in London. Most of the original church, dating from the th century, was destroyed during the bombings of the Second World War. However, there remains the Thomas More chapel (1477-1535), and the legend says that the body without the head of the English humanist would be buried below.
