BBC Proms

This festival of classical and chamber music usually takes place at the Royal Albert Hall or Cadogan Hall throughout the summer, transforming London into a veritable musical capital. All the concerts, rich in virtuosity and emotion, are broadcast on the renowned BBC. The Proms have been running for almost 125 years, with the first festival taking place in August 1895. Through over sixty concerts, discussions and events, the Proms aim to bring classical music to as many people as possible.
