BFI LONDON FILM FESTIVAL

This festival has existed for almost sixty years. It was launched in 1956! It is one of the largest British film festivals. For two weeks from mid-October, hundreds of new films from more than 50 countries around the world are screened at the British Film Institute and other cinemas in the center, including several previews. The BFI London Film Festival is sponsored by the renowned newspaper The Times. For film lovers, this is an event not to be missed, and one that can be made into a trip to the capital.
