Facing the River Thames, you'll see this large concrete block turning from blue to purple. This modern, vast complex (whose first director was actor Lawrence Olivier) comprises three theaters: the Olivier, the Lyttelton and the Cottesloe. The programming is varied and of high quality: musicals, classical plays, avant-garde shows... In addition to the classical and ticketed programming, the theater offers several free events throughout the year, including music concerts. Tours of the theater are also available on reservation.
