J P Guivier is the oldest violin shop in England, renowned for the quality of the instruments sold there, founded in 1863 by a Frenchman, Joseph Prosper Guivier. It is located very close to Oxford Circus. Beautiful choice of violins and cellos but also scores, bows and many accessories. A repair service is also available, very fast. The salesmen will be able to advise you with finesse and sympathy. We also like its pretty green and golden window that makes you want to stop.
