Rooms with private bathrooms in a historic hotel with restaurant in London.
A sumptuous Edwardian hotel that opened in 1910 and can boast of having been the first to install central heating and private bathrooms for each room. The service is impeccable, attentive and personalised. The rooms are tastefully decorated, all in a different style, with classic and modern design blending together in the rules of English elegance. The hotel even has a valet for each suite. You will never forget your stay in this very British hotel.

Had afternoon tea with wife and friends in this establishment. Food and drink was fine, but some of the staff could do with being a bit more attentive. At times we felt ignored when we needed help but apart from that the ambience was great.

The hotel rooms were beautiful, with lovely touches like the little Goring sheep to take home, a gorgeous turn down service and other treats like lip balm, pillow mist, fruit and even a jar of jam!
The ambience in the bar area was lovely, with great cocktails and bar food too. The live pianist on Friday night provided a warm atmosphere, which never felt stuffy.
The dining room was closed for renovation during our stay, so we had breakfast in the Veranda - the food was delicious with plenty of choice and again, nothing was a problem for the staff. Lovely views of the garden.
Location was super, a short stroll from Buckingham Palace, Victoria etc. Everywhere was really accessible.
Though expensive, it's well worth the money and the personal touches throughout. I hope I get to return in the future!
