Absolutely waste of money and time. I will never book again. The female staff who checked me in was rude. I was charged 2 pounds for the key. I wonder on earth which establishment charges for keys?!!
If you are thinking of having good night sleep then forget it it’s noisy as hell. It’s 11 pm and the pub below is noisy like anything. They should be charging 4-5 pounds per night by the service they offer

Upon arriving at what I thought would be an affordable hostel for my first trip to London, my mood quickly soured. Despite booking a six-person dorm, the bed I was given was dirty and the charging sockets weren't working, leaving my phone dead and me unable to contact my family to let them know I arrived safely. When I tried to switch beds to charge my phone, I encountered a rude receptionist who failed to provide any helpful solutions and instead accused me of making noise. Fed up with the terrible attitude and environment, I left the hostel without seeking a refund. No one should have to endure such poor treatment and conditions, and I would give this hostel zero stars and never recommend it to anyone.:(

One of the worst hostels I have visited. Cleanliness is zero. Employees do not deserve to work in such a place, especially female employees. They don't speak well with customers and residents poorly. I don't want to rebook it and I don't recommend it to anyone.

Mixed Experience: Worth Considering

i stayed here for a couple of nights, and my experience was a mixed bag.

On the downside, my first morning was disrupted by the cleaner entering the room, which was unsettling. Later, I encountered some confusion about my bed assignment, with staff insisting I move to accommodate a later booking. After some back-and-forth, I was able to stay put, but the exchange left a sour taste.

However, after checking out, the hostel surprised me with an unexpected gesture of hospitality that was greatly appreciated and significantly improved my overall impression.

While my initial encounter was less than ideal, the kindness shown by the hostel staff afterward deserves recognition. The facilities were generally clean and comfortable, and the location was convenient. Despite the hiccups, I recommend it.

Central and accessible location, neatly and nicely furnished rooms, and accommodating staff make it a pleasant place to spend the night.

Genuinely the rudest staff I’ve encountered. Receptionist ignored me when it was literally empty and acted like it was such a pain to have to talk to me. Was extreme condescending rude and unhelpful when clarifying check in times and comepletely useless. I would pay more for better service.

I cannot begin to describe how much this hostel is awful and a waste of money. First of all the staff is rude and insufferable. After looking at their website, I saw you can do early check in for free if there are beds available. When I came to ask about availability, the woman working was so rude and unhelpful and refused to let me in earlier and didn’t cite an actual reason as to why. She claimed early check in was hours later and had a fee. This is not what it said on the website. I asked her about places to leave my things and she was completely rude short and unhelpful. She told me I needed change to operate lockers but I had lost my debit card and she simply said that’s not my problem. This is true however kindness and helpfulness goes a long way. I asked for recs on places with cash back and was ignored. I was finally able to do cash back and came back with a 5 and she refused to break it for me so I could operate the machine. I had to leave again to have this broken. I asked if there was a lounge to chill in and She then said no and I can sit at the empty bar. However there was a lounge and when I confronted her she said sorry we’ve had issues with theft. I’m a paying customer and don’t understand why I would be considered a threat to theft. Later in the evening I went to check in again and was met by a deeply unhelpful employee. She was too busy making her friends and herself drinks at the bar to be any sort of effective help. I was ignored repeatedly. I complained to her about the service and about the other employee. Later in the evening, they were together and gossiping about me and making uncomfortable in all the common areas of the hostel. Secondly the common area. Smells absolutely rancid and there’s a couple of older men who smelt disgusting in there for the entirety of my stay. I reported this and the staff did nothing. These men would not leave me alone and kept talking to me. Finally the other clients. Majority homeless addicts who use in the rooms. Many of the clients were much older and high on drugs with one woman using in front of me. Once again I reported this to staff and they did nothing. The area is also very sketchy lots of creepy older men and drug addicts walking around. Very unclean area and hostel. Additionally male cleaning staff came in twice while I was changing or just out of the shower. Don’t expect anything pleasant you see online.

Maddy & Jess were phenomenal hosts. First time in Camden Town and they made my time very enjoyable and gave me a birthday to remember. 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for positive vibes.

I really wanted to give this property a better review but I can’t get past the fact that a man in my room physically threatened two guests on two separate nights. This was reported but the threatening guest remained and further enabled. Assault should never be tolerated! This facility is simply unsafe.

I sadly was not able to stay in the rooms but I just wanted to speak on the kindness and service offered towards me. I accidentally booked a bed for the wrong day and the woman at reception could not be more helpful in giving me recommendations and going so far as to walk outside to point me in the right direction to the other hostel. She also helped me with my cancellation as well. Five star service.

Stayed for 6 nights. Had a great time. Pros: Comfortable beds, hot showers, spacious under the bed cages(but won’t fit your biggest luggage), great location; had nice windows that opened and blackout curtains too. All staff were nice and responsive with all our needs. Breakfast was yummy and they have this nice cappuccino/mocha machine. Bruno, Marcio, and Reina were great. Thanks guys.

Cons: not much to speak of. If I had to be picky, the beds were a little narrow, the storage was large but couldn't hold the biggest of suitcases, the room door slammed behind you no matter if you tried to close it gently.

Never stayed in such a disgusting hostel. It really was the worst hostel I've ever stayed in. The bathrooms were disgusting, almost every toilet was out of order (also the one in our bedroom) and the others were absolutely hideous. The eight bed room was cold, because one of the windows was leaking and the heaters were off. We asked at the reception about it, and they just gave us a second blanket.
Would definitely not recommend this place, and will not come back.

Location is good for st pancras and tube stations. But otherwise, it's a dodgy area. Staff called me babe and were flirtatious, which was in no way reciprocated. You can here the tube in the rooms when the music and noise from the bar isn't loud. Toilets were gross.

Wollte da Übernachten und mit LKW parken leider musste ich feststellen das das Hotel voll war aber es war etwas Abseits von der Straße und machte einen gepflegten Eindruck werde es wieder versuchen beim Naechsten londonbesuch ????
