Location good. Lady behind the reception was very helpful (agoda had lost my reservation and she helped me out) but the room i had was awful. Directly underneath the entrance of the hotel in the basement. You could hear everyone walking in/out, talking and the night porter who was having lengthy telephone calls by the front door at 1am. I had to get up and ask him to keep quiet.
Why 2 stars: when we arrived we encountered an issue with the bed. The bed base was missing a wheel, making its left side unstable and uncomfortable.
When we asked the employees of the hotel to give us a solution, we were told that they will fix the problem once we are gone and gave us a pile of magazine for us to "fix". No apologies or real solution, for 300€ a night we found it particularly disappointing.
Furthermore there were more broken items in the bedroom: a light not fixed to the wall showing cables that may become an electrical hazard, a shower knob falling off when used.
The main asset of the hotel is its location (close to baker street).
Our experience was, as said before, disappointing and from our experience we do not recommend that place
The receptionist Alex was rude while checking out. We requested help with our luggage, and I heard her saying they need help and I don’t care.
No one helped us with our luggage, neither during check in or out.
The room was so tight and there was no elevator. The napkin is so limited and the cleaning products were so small it won’t work for one use only!
I’m wondering how this hotel is a 4 star hotel.
The room was tiny (especially for the price paid). Turned out our shower was leaking into reception, but it didn’t really interfere with us - but they wanted to come and check it out.
Only stayed here for a night, and room was perfectly comfortable in a really good location, but the staff was so so lovely and welcoming. I was made to feel more than welcome, even after I checked out, and I think that’s quite rare for London. I would definitely come back.
Broke down outside hotel. Lovely gent very kindly allowed us to use the facilities whilst waiting for recovery truck. Lovely service and very welcoming. Thank you!
Un hotel tranquilo, bien situado, con metro cerca.
Supermercados y zonas de ocio cerca
Lo único negativo, deberían cambiar las moquetas de las habitaciones.
Por lo demás, recomendable 100%
