We had a windowless room, which is normally not a problem if the ventilation in the room is good. This was not the case in our room.
The amount of noise coming into our room from the hallway was rather big, so we were woken up quiet a lot during the night.

My recent stay at corner hotel was nothing short of extraordinary, thanks to the warm welcome from Kamile and the exceptional service provided by Greta, Javier and Cristina during my stay. From the moment I arrived, Kamile’s hospitality set the tone for a delightful experience. The room was cozy and comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep.

The following day, Greta and Javier went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction, whether it was serving delicious food or preparing refreshing drinks. Their attention to detail and friendly demeanor truly elevated my dining experience.

The breakfast is good, the bed gives a good sleep.

I am not sure why this hotel is a 3-star hotel. I have been in several hotels, in various countries and cities, on different continents, and of course, I stayed in many accommodation places and hotels. Per my own experience, considering the amenities, room size, perks of the hotel, convenience, and service, I give this hotel only 2 stars.
The rooms are ok, kind of cheap, and they try to " dress" them to look as " modernized", to skew your mind from some important elements of a real 3-star hotel.
Service? I'm not sure.
My story, The moment I got there, before paying and confirming my reservation, my instinct told me that this was not the place that I wanted to stay, so I asked for a room tour, not impressive at all.
Again, considering all sorts of things:
1. Their high prices ( more than 2100$ for a twin bed, 8 nights)
2. Being a low amenities hotel, which does not even have a fridge or a simple coffee machine,
I have to say, not my type and not worth it, sorry!

If you choose the QBic hotel, the only risq is that you dont want to move anymore ! Stay near the fire with a tea or a good beer and enjoy a good music... Have a good night in the large and confortable bed before an excellent breakfast with smoke salmon ! Just have to
chill... ????

The room is extremely weird, no windows, very weird choices overall. There is no light on the ceiling. The bed is comfortable. The breakfast is 15 GBP and tastes like LIDL. Room cleaning is very poor. We left our towels on the floor as per instructions so they change them. We return 14 hours later, guess what, the put the dirty towels back on the rack. Someone not doing their job. If you think I sound like a Karen go and see for youro. Location is good, near the subway. You can get far superior breakfast 2min down the main road. Overall not recommending, feels like a prison.

Very budget friendly hotel and well located to get a short tube to the Barbican. It was half of the price that some of the others we were looking at were. We did self check in and were down in the basement which had no windows. It was only for sleeping and showering really but it felt claustrophobic and a lack of real air. Thought we’d be ok in this space but the sleep wasn’t the best. Should request a none basement room next time.

A lot of other reviews have mentioned the area being bad. We didn’t find this. It’s just off a main road with bus and tube links.

Our stay there was great. The staff were very nice and great to talk to. Love that they had a restaurant for all 3 meal periods. Always someone on for a late night drink as well. Good location and place for a short stay. Only downside is that the rooms are a bit unique in terms of layout and size. Otherwise would definitely stay there again.

The check-in and check-out process was seamless, making it stress-free to get settled in and depart. The cool artwork in the rooms adds a unique and engaging touch. The bar food and drinks were relatively well priced and quick service. The cost of the hotel was perfect for the area. There were 2 tube stops within short walking distance and a Tesco across the road. I would highly recommended it for travelers seeking convenience at a budget rate.

I slept one night at the corner and forgot an item in the room. After calling couple of times and requesting more time they confirmed they had it. Had to change my train time and when I arrived there and after waiting for 1h they said it was not there.
Poor service.

Sadly there's no reception anymore. Check-in/Check-out is done on a computer. The breakfast was ten times better years before with quality local products. Now the breakfast is disapointing an not very good (poor quality ingredients, not a lot of variety). Fault of brexit/inflation? But the rooms are still very good ( big, clean, nice) and the stuff is still very friendly and helpful. Plus the location is good.
