Perfect location. A short walking distance from Victoria Station, Buckingham Palace, Westminster, Southbank, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly, Mayfair, Soho, Covent Garden and so on. The hotel looks very beautiful from the exterior and courtyard. The foyer is smaller and the restaurant more casual, than you would expect. The room was nice but there were a number of large extractor fans outside that hummed constantly. We asked to move and this improved our stay tremendously. The room was a decent size, the bed was very comfortable, the curtains blacked out any light and the en-suite included a bath. The tv didn’t work, but this didn’t matter. I did let reception know, when we checked out. They kindly gave me a refund for two coffees, as gesture of goodwill. Nevertheless, this refund didn’t reach my bank account.
Breakfast was excellent. Our waiter was attentive, professional and friendly. You can choose two small meals from the menu and there’s also a substantial buffet, that offers English, Continental and Indian options. We arrived at 8:30am, by 9am there was a queue waiting to be seated. By 10am, there was a very long queue, so get there early. The spa/well being centre was also outstanding and I would highly recommend experiencing this during your stay. Overall, a great stay.

St. James' Court, A Taj Hotel in London is a hidden gem that offers a unique blend of luxury and comfort. The hotel's location is ideal, situated in a quiet courtyard just a short walk from Buckingham Palace. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. My room was well-appointed and spacious, with a comfortable bed and modern bathroom. The hotel's courtyard is a beautiful oasis in the middle of the city, perfect for enjoying a cup of tea or a cocktail. The hotel also offers a fitness center and a spa, which were both great additions. Overall, I would highly recommend St. James' Court, A Taj Hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay in London.

Ottima colazione, molta gentilezza verso i bambini, camere pulite ed accoglienti. Era la seconda volta che venivamo e penso torneremo quando a Londra.

I booked Taj Hotel for the first time and it was my last time. It was a very bad experience. I got goosebumps after seeing the room in this hotel.

A beautiful property which is just a stone’s throw away from Buckingham Palace. Known for their hospitality, like any other Taj Hotel, they live up to their name & reputation! We stayed for almost 10 days & had a wonderful experience! The warmth by the staff (Deepak, Ibad, Sumriti & everyone!) at breakfast would give a “cheerful” start to the day! We also had an amazing dinner at House of Ming & meeting the restaurant manager “Shubham”! A special word of thanks for an extremely helpful gentleman by the name “Binoy” at Concierge too! We were disappointed by the one we met before him (I would refrain from taking a name here) who despite offering to help, never actually did! On the other hand,Mr Binoy advised us & arranged our tours very diligently! Felt like a Mini India in the heart of London! Thanks to Jeff at the reception for always being helpful & courteous during our long stay in the hotel! However, if I may… I would like to put in a few suggestions that should be taken as the “feedback” & no criticism…

i) the breakfast gets too busy & they are not able to handle the traffic well during the peak hours. May be a bigger place & more work-force should help! Someone needs to tell the cook to make parathas with “whole wheat” atta & not with refined (maida).

ii) The housekeeping needs to be worked upon too. The soap bars was not being replenished till we asked for it! It would become so thin that it could not be used & there was no soap dispenser near the wash basin! Why not place an extra soap bar or at least replenish after a couple of days on their own!

Overall, it was an absolutely fantastic stay! Hope to come back next year too!
