The room was very small (yes it's a single room but still very small). There was no place to open a suitcase properly. And the walls were scratched- probably by luggage but it didn’t add to the ambiance. The bathroom looked clean but there was a hair on the soap dispenser and it mad me wondering how well is cleaning. The bed was short (and I am not tall 166 cm) and way to soft - not sure how old is the mattress. In some point it was very hot in the room but I can’t open the window (I tried to open it - even a little bit but it was locked)
you could also hear train with close windows - not sure where it was coming from.
Our first Sonder experience was pleasantly fantastic. Booked a 1BR that was exactly like pictured with great quality finishes - boasts a spacious bathroom with a great shower! Comfortable bed and minimalistic furnishing but does not feel 'cheap' by any means. Location was prime! From reading reviews, I was aware that you had to be tech savvy or tech ready, so we were and everything checked out smoothly for us. While there isn't like a regular concierge, there was someone serving as like a customer service on-site that accomplished just the same. The lobby was also a surprise how spacious and tastefully design. Definitely a worthy boutique hotel experience and glad we did it - and I'm looking forward to our next Sonder stay somewhere in the world.
Paid £190 per night and not worth. Mattress was old and uncomfortable. Also very noisy room, windows were not isolated. Some investment would make happy clients which only expect sleeping during the night. (That was my expectation at least).
Location is good. Reception , elevator, corridors were renovated. The rooms are small but all renovated as well. Reception is 24 hour-work. These are all positive points. There are no cleaning for the rooms during the hole stay. That's very negative in my point of view. I had to pay 25 pounds PER DAY to have the room cleaned every single day of my stay. With this price I could have stayed in Hilton hyde park, which is better located and a high quality hotel. I found absurdly expensive 25 pounds PER day to have the room cleaned. Check out is 11 am. Let's go with 25 pounds once again to have a late check out at 2pm. No restaurant available in the hotel. Only a small third party coffe shop near to the reception that works mornings.
The hotel decoration is well blended between heritage and new modern. The room is clean, the staffs are helpful. Just alert everyone to download the hotel app to communicate with the hotel on your request.
The location is perfect since it's super convenience to get the bus to Piccadelly and just cross the road to Hyde Park and Kensington Palace and 2 blacks with 5 mins walling to underground.
Surrounding is quite and safe.
The only thing that I may suggest to the hotel is to have few choice of wine / liquor to serve at the cafe.
There are also locker provide to keep your stuffs after check out.
Entrance to the hotel need access code so it make me feel more safe.
Location is great and staff were great help.
Only issue is ventilation (fans in room and bathroom didnt really work) and mold in the bathroom that staff did try to help with spraying but mold was back only couple hours later. Also no room cleaning and Hotel gave me vibes of a Airbnb instead of hotel but due to location and staff I would still recommend Sonder
We asked for a quiet room to the front because of the tube and got one without any problems. The location and the staff were both excellent.
The only drawback was the beds. The mattresses felt very worn down and the pillows were hard. Other than that it was a pleasant stay at Sonder!
A wonderful hotel. We enjoyed staying twice during our trip we reserved the small and the big room both of them was very good . The hotel is clean. The rooms are very clean and have a modern and wonderful design. The staff is very helpful and wonderful. There is a café inside the hotel. All the tourist places are close to the hotel. I recommend it and I enjoyed staying in it.
gute Anbindung an öffentliche Verkehrsmittel!

Rooms are little bit small but thats fine if you spend most of the day outside.
