One of the best Indian restaurants in London offering classic, vegan and vegetarian cuisine.
Dishoom is one of the most famous Indian restaurant chains in London. It is a good option to try Indian cuisine, which is closely linked to the British capital, without breaking the bank. The menu, overflowing and tempting, offers all the great classics: chicken tikka, biryani, naan, masala... Many vegan and vegetarian options are available. Dishoom's original purpose is to introduce people to the food and hospitality of Mumbai's restaurants. Near the King's Cross train station, you can eat in a stunning old train station industrial setting.

J'ai testé l'adresse de Shoreditch. C'est LE resto indien à la mode ! Et donc, 1h30 d'attente pour dîner. Au bout d'une heure, on nous propose d'aller au bar pour attendre (business is business) ... Ambiance hyper bruyante, niveau sonore digne d'une salle de concert rock. On choisit ses plats (et ensuite on dîne) dans la pénombre (quelques bougies seulement - du coup, je n'ai pas pris de photo). Serveuse impatiente. Bon, compte tenu du temps déjà perdu, on peut considérer que le service des assiettes est assez rapide. Attention ! Pour les palais sensibles, le niveau de puisssance pimentée des plats n'est pas indiqué. Pour moi, pas de problème, mes crevettes étaient délicieuses mais elles ont mis le feu au palais de mon amie ... Addition également trop pimentée.

Nous avons testé la formule brunch du week-end dans le restaurant de Kensington. Décor façon hall de gare des années 30, musique live et délicieux naan fourrés. Service très aimable et efficace. Je recommande.
