WICKED, tells the incredible and little-known story of the Witches of Oz. The public liked it so much, that starting Monday, September 8th at 10am, 500,000 tickets went on sale. So take advantage, you have until November 7, 2015 to attend.

This show has been attracting crowds for 9 years now, which is why it has become the 10th longest running show in the history of the West End. For its quality, the show has received a great quantity of awards and visitors from all over the world met in the theatre this summer to see it, breaking the audience record with 160,000 people in July and August alone


Harper's Bazaar said this show is one of the best and most popular in the UK. More than 6 million spectators went to see him at the Apollo Victoria Theatre in London


Worldwide, Wicked has been seen by more than 42 million people in 13 countries and has won 100 international awards. For more than a decade, the Gershwin Theatre has hosted this production, which remains, according to the New York Times, one of the biggest hits on Broadway.


While the show continues in London, Wicked will have a spectacular tour that will run until the summer of 2015 (available at the Liverpool Empire from 16 September for just 4 weeks)


The London production features Kerry Ellis (Elphaba), Savannah Stevenson (Glinda), Jeremy Taylor (Fiyero), Sue Kelvin (Madame Morrible), Martyn Ellis (The Wizard), Paul Clarkson (Doctor Dillamond), Sam Lupton (Boq),Katie Rowley Jones (Nessarose), Emma Hatton (Standby Elphaba) and Sophie Linder-Lee (Standby Glinda). From Monday, October 27, 2014, we might find some changes in the casting.


This show is based on Gregory Maguire's best seller and tells the stories and characters created by L. Frank Baum in 'Oz the Magnificent'. Despite their differences, two girls who met at the witchcraft school are united by a deep bond of friendship. Their extraordinary adventures in Oz will make them fulfill their destinies and become Glinda the Good and Wicked the Witch of the West.


Winnie Holzman wrote the book that inspired Stephen Schwartz to create the music and lyrics for Wicked, with the participation of choreographer Wayne Cilento and the direction of Joe Mantello, who has already won the Tony Award on two occasions. Wicked is based in the Roman of "ʻWicked: The True Story of the Wicked Witch of the West", written by Gregory Maguire.
