CHIESA DI SANTA MARIA ASSUNTA

Built between the ^12th and ^14th centuries, it was erected on the remains of a previous church whose remains can still be seen in the crypt. The façade has a beautiful Romanesque portal and a large rose window, reminiscent of the façade of Santa Maria di Collemaggio in L'Aquila. The interior contains very interesting frescoes of the ^fourteenth and ^fifteenth centuries. You can also visit the crypt of the ^XII century, dedicated to San Franco d'Assergi.
