ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM

Located in the old Benedictine monastery of Sant'Agata, near Piazza della Libertà, the archaeological museum has four floors of sculptures from the ^first and ^second centuries, a small collection of bronze jewelry from the ^seventh century, as well as finds from research in the necropolises of the area. The museum also allows access to the Roman theater, built in the ^first century AD and updated at the end of the ^19th century, which is used for the Festival of the Two Worlds and other shows during the summer.
